I discovered something yesterday as I read Memory Wall by Anthony Doerr. I found myself reviewing the book as I read and it suddenly occurred to me that the reason why I don’t review the books I have read as beautifully as I would like is because by the time I finish the book all I can muster is a summary. So I am turning over a new leaf! Henceforth I shall review chapter by chapter…or every fifty pages? Oh! I don’t really know but all I know is when I finally put up my review of Memory Wall it will be rich because all the thoughts I have running through my head as I read would feature prominently.
Does anyone else feel this way when reading or am I the weird one?
